A VERY Merry Christmas!!

Chandler's first Christmas was a great one! Lots of presents!! The weather made it so that the family had to stay over a little longer than normal, which was a lot of fun. We ate, and laughed, and then ate some more. Here are a few highlights....

Huggins Family

Friday night was the Huggins family Christmas party. It was the first one since Grandma and Grandpa came home from their mission in Nauvoo and it was a lot of fun! Santa came and brought all of the little kids (and some bigger kids, TY!) presents. There was great food and even better company!

Barraclough Family

Saturday it was the Barraclough's turn to throw the party. The weather was a little scary for some (that will teach you to leave the house at 2 when the party STARTS at 2, Amy and Ryan!) but we all arrived alive. The piggies are multiplying! We started with 1, then moved up to 2, now we can do 4! It takes a long time (and a LOT of patience!) but it's so cute!!

I probably don't need to tell you this, but this is after she pulled them out. She was good though and kept them in for about 12 hours. What a nice girl!

The Reason I'm Slacking on my Blog Lately....

His name is Mike Evans....isn't he cute?! He's nice, too. He went to TWO (extended) family parties with me this weekend, and didn't complain once. Chandler loves him, too, which is saying a lot! I think I'll keep him!

What a CHEESER!!

This is what Chandler does when you hold a camera in front of her. I guess she's figured out that's what people want from her. What a nerd! And no, I don't usually have a bow in her hair when she is wearing pajamas, and it's a total coincidence that it matches.

Amy and Ryan went to California this last weekend while I watched all 3 little blondies. Among the many presents that were brought home, Chandler and Mya got these matching Minnie Mouse ear hair clips that they picked up for them in Disneyland. Aren't they cute?!

My Little Project

I'm not normally a crafty person, but I had the idea for this mat and thought that it seemed easy enough....I was totally right. It was simple and turned out DARLING! It's just a whole bunch of scrapbook paper cut into different sized rectangles and squares Mod Podged onto the mat (it's the one that I had at my wedding that everyone signed. I just turned it over and reused it!). Who knew $3.00 worth of paper could turn into something so cute?! It will look adorable hanging over Chandler's crib!
