I know, I know, I probably shouldn't compare my sweet inocent child to the horror and nastyness that is The Silence Of The Lambs, but it was the first thing that I thought of when she put that little butterfly in her mouth.

By the way, that's actually a bath toy that she's eating. And just in case you were thinking to yourself "oh those are cute, I want them!".... you really don't. The little wings on them spin when a string is pulled and they are supposed to swim, but they don't. Total waste of $10.

Pictures

So...I've been thinking. It's not just going to be me and Chandler for much longer, with me getting married and all, and I really want to get some cute pictures of just the 2 of us before we become a bigger fam. Anyone know of a good photographer that might want to take some? I want to wait until the weather is a little warmer so that I can take them outside, but I'm on the hunt for a photographer. Any help would be appreciated, just leave me a comment or email me. Thanks!

P.S. I would PREFER that this person not charge an arm and a leg. I'm even willing to be someone's guinnea pig if they want to try out their photographer skills on us.

Happy Birthday!

To ME!! One more year and I will hit the quarter century mark! Thank you to my sisters and mom for taking me to lunch today. Olive Garden's soup and salad always hits the spot, especially when it's finished off with some lemon cream cake!! And thank you to my love Mike for the night out this week. He even took me to Confessions of a Shopaholic....that's love for you!

Babysitting Raina Paina

My friend Clari called and asked me if I would watch her little girl Raina while she went and got her hair cut, and I was more than willing. She is 5 months old and such a DOLL! We had lots of fun.

Her smile kills me. She smiles with her whole face. Her eyes are my favorite!

Celine Dion!

My sister Cara and I went to the Celine Dion concert at the Energy Solutions Arena last night and it was AMAZING! Tickets to the concert went on sale in November 2007 for a scheduled November 2008 show. I don't know what happened, but about 3 days before the concert, it was rescheduled for last night. I was so bummed, as I had had tickets for about a year, but figured it would be worth the wait. Man, was I right! We didn't know exactly where our seats were going to be, but figured they weren't great. We soon found that they were on the absolute back row of the entire stadium. I was ok with it, but Cara has poor eye sight and wasn't going to be able to see much, even with the jumbo-tron. After the opening act (a comedian and impressionist named Gordy Brown, he was hilarious!) a girl that worked at the ESA came up to the people across the way from us and asked if they wanted to move down, so I piped in and said that we would also love to move down. With where our seats were, it could only get better! So she sent us down 2 levels to row 8. Much to our surprise, row 8 was the front row in the lower bowl and we were RIGHT SMACK DAB in front of the stage!! Literally, if we hopped over the little fence that was in front of us, we would have been ON the stage. We were totally pumped!

We were giggly and giddy the entire show, and I took a little less that 100 pictures. She was so close I even got some good pictures on my phone! Here are some more pictures of the concert. I know you guys probably aren't that interested, but I thought it was awesome!

Doesn't it look like she's flipping the bird? She wasn't though, I promise. She was so close to us, I could see her purple eye shadow and the snake skin print on her shoes.

I guess R Kelly couldn't get out of jail to perform "I'm Your Angel" with her, so this guy was the fill in. He looked right at me for a few seconds while he was singing. I, of course, was singing along at the top of my lungs.

We had so much fun! She's so talented and puts on such a great show. I wanted to go to her Vegas show while I was there last year, but I'm sure this was much better. Thanks for coming with me, Cara! It was a BLAST!! And thanks for babysitting for me, Amy!

1 Year Pictures
