Yogurt

Chandler is loving learning how to feed herself. She made quite the mess out of a little thing of yogurt. Notice her hair...she used the yogurt as gel. She also used it as gel on the kitty.

Ooh, yogurt!

Horns

I love key lime pie flavor!

Pay It Forward

I got this from my sister Darcy's blog...she's pretty crafty and creative, so I totally want her gift!

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a handmade gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch...you have to post this on your blog, then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in.

Like Darcy said, if you haven't seen the movie "Pay it Forward", I highly recommend it. You're sure to cry!

Twins!

I bought Chandler this little sweater vest and Mya loved it, so Amy bought it for her in a different (more Mya appropriate) color. She had it on today when Amy brought her over for us to babysit her, so I put Chandler's on, too. Aren't they cute?

Mya's smile KILLS me!

Kiss for her cousin!

Learning to Walk is Painful...

For Chandler AND me! She's walking all over the place now, and getting better with every step, although Amy says she staggers like a tiny drunk. She had her first big "owie" yesterday when she fell and hit uncle Ty's knee on the way down. Her 2 little teeth came up and split her upper lip. It was traumatic for both of us! She bled a little and had a fat lip for the rest of the night.

All of this growing up is making me feel so nostalgic and miss when she was tiny. I knew that she was going to grow up, I just didn't know that it would go so fast! She's learning more and more every day and before I know it, she's going to be talking back to me and telling me she hates me like I did to my mom. I guess I just have to take it all in while I can and make the most of every day!

Just a few hours old

Sweet little grin! About 6 weeks old

MMMMM.....Masgetti!

We had spaghetti on Sunday...Chandler is a fan! She's big into feeding herself lately, so after I fed her most of it, I let her have a hand at it. I have to be honest, she wasn't near as messy as I expected her to be, but I'm glad that we took her clothes off first!

Big girl using a spoon all by herself!

Shoveling it in!

Yum!!

What?! You don't get noodles on your boobs when you eat spaghetti?

All that fun required a bath, which was also a great time!
Loving tub time!

"Rubber ducky, you're the one..."

Don't look at me, I'm NAKED!
I think she has more fun when the water is gone and the bottom of the tub is all slick. She slides back and forth and giggles. And she always cries for just a second when it's time to get out.

Resting Up For His Next Big Adventure

The backpack is one of those camel backs that hold water...not sure why the headband is around his head. He's a nerd.

Why God Made Moms

I got this in an email foward and laughed so hard, I had to share it....

Answers given by 2nd grade school children

Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3 God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of ?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.

Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.

What kind of little girl was your mom?
1. My Mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
3. They say she used to be nice.

What did Mom need to know about dad before she married him?
1. His last name.
2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?

Why did your mom marry your dad?
1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot.
2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on.

Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between moms & dads?
1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.
4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.

What does your mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your mom perfect?
1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Hop on Pop

Chandler has become quite the little monkey lately, climbing on everything, or should I say everyone! Earlier tonight, Mike was taking a little nap on the floor when she crawled on top of him and sat right on his head...then began to bounce. Luckily he's a good sport and just laughed through it all. I got to laugh, too, since minutes earlier she was doing the same thing to me, only on my FACE!!
